Chez Soi Commitment to our Clients – Curly Hair Care Sets
We are passionate at Chez Soi about the products we use and sell. As primarily a Curly Hair salon, the majority of the hair products we carry can be found on curlscan.com which means they have been “curly girl approved.” Though we do specialize in curly hair, this does not leave our other clients neglected. Curly hair products are simply more gentle and a benefit to any hair type. We pride ourselves in our commitment to using products that are good for both hair and scalp, researching constantly the listed ingredients. Many products contain harmful sulfates that are “hidden” under a number of different names. You can find more details about sulfates and their affects in a separate article below.
Once we have done our research and chosen new products that are curly friendly the next step is to bring them into the salon where they are tried and tested by our stylists at the sink and chair. Together, both the stylists and the clients choose the curly products that give them the results they are looking for. Last but not least, the choices are made and the products are brought into the salon for salon use and retail.
Our Stylists love to share their passion and knowledge of the curly hair brands we carry. During any appointment they will determine which curly products are best suited to your needs. They will explain the use, benefits and results you can expect to achieve and welcome any questions you may have.
Whilst researching curly hair products and cuts, in particular the Rezo Cut, which is another curly hair cutting method, we discovered a brand named Ouidad, an award winning curly hair product that caters to Loose, Classic, Tight and Kinky curls! We began trialling the products at Chez Soi in September 2020 and have been excited by the results.
